The celebrations began in spectacular style with a glamorous White Party in the beautiful city of Porto.

Guests arrived dressed in elegant white attire at a stunning rooftop venue overlooking the iconic Douro River, where panoramic views created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. With exceptional food, flowing drinks and the vibrant atmosphere of Porto all around them, family and friends had the chance to reconnect before the wedding celebrations officially began.

As the evening unfolded, DJ Ripla transformed the rooftop into an unforgettable party, keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish. Leonie and Jide made a striking entrance in coordinated black and deep red outfits, standing out beautifully against the sea of white. Elegant, sophisticated and full of personality, they perfectly set the tone for the incredible wedding weekend ahead.

After an unforgettable evening in Porto, the following day was all about slowing down and preparing for the celebrations ahead. The bridal party gathered at Magnolia House (Casa de Anciães) for the ceremony rehearsal with Natalie and Tania from Veil & Véu, where every detail of the ceremony was carefully walked through. Together they rehearsed the order of entrances, timings and positions, ensuring everyone felt relaxed and confident ahead of the big day.

For many members of the bridal party, it was also their first opportunity to see Casa de Anciães in person. Walking through the beautiful venue before it had been transformed for the wedding created a real sense of excitement as everyone imagined how spectacular it would look the following day.

With the rehearsal complete and every final detail confirmed, Leonie enjoyed a relaxed evening with her bridesmaids, soaking up precious moments before the celebrations, while Jide spent the evening with his groomsmen. It was the perfect opportunity for both of them to unwind, reflect and prepare for one of the most important days of their lives.

Meanwhile, Jide looked every bit as stylish in his impeccably tailored suit by PDJ, creating a timeless look that perfectly complemented the elegance of the occasion.

One of the most emotional moments of the morning came when Leonie revealed her bridal look to her bridesmaids, daughters and parents. Their reactions filled the room with smiles, tears and excitement before everyone made their way to Magnolia House for the ceremony.

Set within the stunning surroundings of Magnolia House (Casa de Anciães), Leonie and Jide’s vow renewal ceremony was both elegant and deeply personal.

The venue had been beautifully transformed by Vila Verde Flowers, whose exquisite floral designs complemented the historic character and natural beauty of Casa de Anciães perfectly. Beautiful live music from a pianist and singers accompanied the ceremony, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth and emotion. Family and friends joined together in heartfelt prayers and joyful singing, celebrating not only Leonie and Jide’s love but also the incredible journey they have shared together as husband and wife.

As guests entered the beautifully styled reception space, anticipation filled the room.

The evening began with energetic entrances from the bridesmaids and groomsmen before Leonie and Jide made their own spectacular entrance to cheers and applause.

Guiding the reception was the exceptional MC Tandoh, whose infectious energy and charisma kept the celebration flowing effortlessly. Before the evening party began, Leonie surprised everyone with a stunning outfit change, ready to dance the night away.

The cake cutting was one of the most spectacular moments of the entire weekend.

As music filled the air, Leonie and Jide cut their cake surrounded by a breathtaking fireworks display that illuminated the night sky above Casa de Anciães.
