We started planning with Veil and Véu more than a year before our wedding week, not really knowing what to expect. We had a vision – and while we completely trusted the process and the team, there was a part of us that wondered whether everything would really come to life. Me being me, a perfectionist bride who wanted to know every detail, I was slightly concerned at the pace things were moving early on. I was wrong. This is Veil and Véu’s bread and butter – they knew exactly when to ramp things up, get things done, and execute to perfection. 

Choosing planners who weren’t necessarily from an Indian background for what you could call a “big fat Indian wedding” felt like a bit of a risk at first, but the team was all over everything! They took the time to understand and learn all the intricacies that go into an Indian wedding. They knew every key family member and friend, making everyone feel special and cared for throughout the week. 

Jess was my person through the entire process. She is a LEGEND. I consider myself a planner, but she’s on another level – always calm, cool, and completely in control. She thought of everything. When Vish (the groom) got a bit of makeup on his collar from a guest, she pulled out a pen and instantly removed the stain. That’s what you call a magic wedding planner and how effortlessly on top of everything Jess was, all the time. 

Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when it’s a whole week of events, but Jess and the Veil and Véu team were our backbone. They were always there, thinking of everything and making our wedding week an absolute dream come true. Thank you, Veil and Véu – you made our vision a reality.
