What is your role at V&V?
I am co-founder and creative director at Veil & Véu. Once you have booked with us you will speak with me on your first discovery call where we will get to know each other and I will find out what are the most important details of your wedding. I thrive on getting creative with your mood boards, helping your creative vision come to life. I specialise in the multi day Indian celebrations creating your large scale events and productions.

Which venue did you get married at and why?
After searching Portugal high and low I finally found the perfect venue at Swan Lake. I fell in love with the romance of the venue with its suspended garden and magical feel. I got married in May 2018 to Alastair and we now share 3 children.
What is your favourite part of the planning process?
I absolutely love being creative — I love learning all about the couples and exploring new ideas to help bring their vision to life. I liaise with suppliers to have the designs we have created unfold beautifully – and turning the ordinary into something stunning and meaningful. I also love the Expo weekend, the couples get to see the venue how it could be on their day, their excitement is infectious, watching their eyes light up when they see the spaces makes me feel more excited to be a part of their journey.

What’s the one thing you always tell your couples to focus on during the planning process?
It’s important for couples to focus on what truly matters to them. Your day needs to reflect your traditions, values, personalities, and shared vision. The goal is to create a day that celebrates your love and the beginning of your life together.
What advice would you give to your couples?
Your guests will have travelled a long way to spend the time with you, make the most of it. I love a post event pool party, it’s a great way to unwind and catch up from the day before.
Also, work and communicate with us, trust us to help. I’ll help you plan everything to the last detail, but on the day, let go. Be present, have fun, and let the magic unfold. Leave the logistics to Veil & Véu.
