Spring in Portugal is soft and romantic. It´s full of new blooms, warming sun, and a real sense of optimism in the air. Average daytime temperatures typically range between 16 °C and 22 °C, depending on the region. In the north, you’ll get slightly fresher mornings and evenings.

Late spring is one of the most sought-after months for a destination wedding in Portugal. It’s warm but not humid, the landscapes are at their lushest, and everything feels fresh and full of life. For UK-based couples, another advantage is that Easter falls in April. If your group includes teachers or children, this makes it an ideal time to take a break.

There are still some dates available in October half term, again a perfect time for families to get away

Daytime temperatures typically sit between 18 °C and 28 °C, with warmth for outdoor vows and coolness for dancing into the evening. In the north, vineyards begin to turn colour and harvest season adds depth and meaning to your surroundings.
