I cannot find the words to describe how fantastic Veil & Véu were throughout our entire wedding planning process. From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for anything more, we are beyond grateful to have had the most incredible team by our side – they made our dream wedding which exceeded both ours and our guests’ expectations come to life 

Planning a 3 day event in a different country could have been overwhelming, but Kathryn, Natalie & Tania made everything stress free & seamless. They were incredibly attentive, always available to answer questions (no matter how big or small), and took care of every single detail with precision. Nothing was too much trouble, and they constantly went above and beyond to make our day extra special. If I made a suggestion of something I would like, I would shortly have various options to choose from sent over, and recommendations for trusted suppliers they could book for us. 

One of the standout moments was when they suggested having ballerinas perform during our dinner. It was one of those ideas that was completely unexpected but totally blew everyone away! It added such an elegant and magical touch to the evening, and it was a perfect reflection of how the team went the extra mile to make the event feel like something out of a fairytale.

They didn’t just help us plan a wedding—they helped us craft an experience that our guests will talk about for years to come. Some of our guests even joked that we aren’t getting invited to any weddings in future because this was too good, or that they now couldn’t get married as it wouldn’t live up to this. We felt taken care of, and supported every step of the way and that’s something we’ll always be thankful for.

Not only did they help with the planning of the day itself, they gave us hotel options and attended with us as we visited 3 different suggestions, they organised our rehearsal dinner/white party along with all decoration & entertainment, food choices, and made recommendations for rooftop bars in Porto. 

To anyone thinking about working with Veil & Véu for their wedding I would 100000% recommend, you can definitely trust them to create the best day of your life. They’re not just experts—they’re artists in making dreams come true and truly felt like friends by the end.

My friend saw a sponsored add on Instagram for Fountain Lane and sent it to me to say how beautiful it was, and I got in touch and you responded pretty much straight away. Whereas when I had contacted the venue they took 1 week + to respond to me. I actually did debate whether I could book directly with the venue and not have a planner but my god I am so pleased I didn’t!!
